Kryton Products Approved by Auckland Council

Our Krystol products have recently obtained approval from the Auckland Council.

The Auckland Council is the council for the Auckland Region in New Zealand. They can determine if certain products pass enough of their strict criteria to be approved for use in construction within the Auckland Region of New Zealand.

The approved products are Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM), Krystol T1 & T2, Krystol Bari-Cote, Krystol Plug and our Krystol Waterstop System for Joints.  Auckland Council has accepted that these products comply with the New Zealand Building Code, in particular clauses B2, E2 and F2.

The Auckland Region encompasses 4894 km2 (1890 sq. mi.) and is inhabited by over 1.5 million people. Obtaining this approval is important, as it helps the developers who use Kryton Products in this vast, tropical region, to obtain approvals more readily.
