Well, we had another project take home some hardware during World of Concrete 2013. Casa Bella Verde in Dorado Hills California won the ICF Builder Award for 2012. This amazing eco home sits in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains and is aiming for LEED Platinum status and en route to becoming one of the greenest homes in the world. The developer had chosen to use ICF technology in its design to create the most energy efficient structure known to the building industry.
Waterproofing these award winning projects from the inside, with permanent Integral Crystalline waterproofing protects these structures throughout their lifetime. As long as moisture remains present, crystals continue to grow throughout the concrete. World of Concrete 2013 definitely showed our industry who is at the forefront in showcasing the future of infrastructure sustainability.
