The United Kingdom is going through a particularly interesting turning point within the construction industry at the moment. The demand for housing is high whilst the supply is dwindling, for a myriad of different reasons, particularly the lack of skilled workers and the length of time it takes to build. Likewise, with heavy investment in the UK’s infrastructure, the same issues apply with resolutions hard to come by.
The reality is traditional building methods are being replaced by Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) in order to keep up with the demands being faced. The most innovative products and services for the built environment are essential to attaining the resources necessary to ensure the demands of the UK can be met with the same supply. In order for the UK construction industry to hit its targets, new methodologies and technologies need to be sought after and used.
Thankfully, for a couple of days in June (June 7th & 8th), London will play host to an event centered on the future of the built environment: Vision London. The exhibition brings together architects, engineers, specifiers, clients, and suppliers in an effort to forge new partnerships that will create the future of the UK.
There is an absolute goldmine of activity happening at this year’s event including:
There is a number of innovative and cutting edge exhibitioners taking part in the 216 edition of Vision London, including Kryton’s UK distributor, Source One Environmental (S1E). As is a big part of the event, S1E is no stranger to providing CPD and product presentations to clients across the UK. In fact, since the beginning of 2016 Technical Sales Managers, Keith Pearce, and Andrew Sapnik have been inside offices and on-site providing information on how to properly use Kryton’s waterproofing system. The crux of this training is outlining the benefits of saving time and money on any given project, as well as the ease of application throughout the product line.
S1E will be exhibiting Kryton’s complete waterproofing system at Stand 44 during the event. Along with Krystol Internal Membrane (KIM) waterproofing admixture, S1E will be discussing the benefits of the Krystol Waterstop System (KWS), which his used to waterproof a structures joints and details, both of which are providing solutions for the UK construction sector. Krytonite Swelling Waterstop is always of particular interest, especially during CPD’s because of its ability to surpass the competition, specifically Bentonite strips.
Vision London will be the place to keep abreast of new products and solutions for the built environment from professionals in the market. With major investment in development across most sectors in the UK, the importance of being present at exhibitions like Vision London is vital.
If you’re in attendance, stop by Stand 44 June 7/8 to learn more about Kryton’s concrete waterproofing systems from UK distributors S1E.
