4 Concrete Waterproofing Solutions for Urban Structures

The high water table in one of Vancouver’s outlying communities posed a potential threat to the Meadows Gate Village Complex, a new urban development in the area. Using 3,500 cubic metres of KIM, the builders were able to ensure the long term durability of the buildings. Read the full case study.

Lebanese Canadian Bank Headquarters Lebanese Canadian Bank Headquarters

During construction of the new Lebanese Canadian Bank head office, the builders had a difficult time finding a solution to waterproof the structure’s basement retaining walls, due to the soaring wall heights. Presuming a traditional membrane wouldn’t be able to successfully waterproof walls of such a great height, they turned to Kryton products for a permanent waterproofing solution for the building. When leaks appeared in elevator pits in the Liwa Centre Apartments in Abu Dhabi, several waterproofing systems were used but none were able to stop the leaks. It was Krystol Crack Repair that succeeded where the other systems had failed, successfully stopping all leaks. Read the full case study.
