Asia Pacific Regional Manager Alain Lok was in Hong Kong recently, and spoke at a seminar during the Special Business Partnering Event in conjunction with the Eco Expo Asia Tradeshow.

This seminar focused on partnering Canadian companies with key Hong Kong business contacts from the environmental and green building industry. Since 1989, the Hong Kong government has realized that Hong Kong was in danger of becoming a densely populated city. Since then, many initiatives and groups have formed to promote Environmentally friendly & Green Building  practices.

Alain spoke to an array of different interest groups, including engineering firms, contractors, consultants, product distributors and importers, among others. The turn-out was excellent, and Alain succeeded in making a number of connections.

Environmental Building Seminars such as this are important to the future of our global economy.  They provide the key information and contact opportunities to discuss how we can all work towards a better, more sustainable growth plan for our infrastructure.
